Badia Collection by Manel Molina

Badia takes its name from the Catalan word for a bay, a place where water is gently enclosed by land. This idea of protection shapes the foundation of the collection. Strong horizontal planes rest on grounded vertical supports, creating a clear architectural presence. The design conveys stability and balance without appearing heavy.

Mediterranean architecture inspires the collection’s calm proportions and restrained geometry. Solid structures are softened by generous cushions that introduce comfort and warmth. Each element works together to express shelter, clarity, and ease. The result is an outdoor collection defined by structure, proportion, and a quiet coastal character.

Manel Molina

Manel Molina is a Spanish designer based in Barcelona. He studied interior design at EINA and began his career working with leading industrial design studios. In 1991, he co-founded Lievore Altherr Molina, gaining national and international recognition in furniture and product design. In 2016, he established Estudi Manel Molina, continuing his focus on furniture and lighting design. His work reflects a commitment to simplicity, authenticity, and timeless solutions grounded in function and context. Manel Molina approaches design as a quiet discipline — where simplicity, authenticity, and context shape every decision from the first sketch to the final form.
